Edgar was born and raised in Calama, a city in northern Chile, where he had many adventures before studying at college. He studied Educational Psychology at the University of Antofagasta in Chile. Upon graduation, he received his Educational Psychologist license. In Chile, he worked for the government of Chile as an Educational Psychologist for 4 years. He worked with children in primary and secondary schools in various special education programs. Edgar has traveled throughout his country and Peru, Bolivia, Colombia and Argentina to discover different cultures and music. He got married in Chile and came to Minnesota to live with his wife in 2011. Currently, Edgar is the Assistant of the Dean of the Students in ISLA and works in Technology (IT), he likes helping children at ISLA and enjoys teaching Minecraft class in the after school program. His passions are playing soccer, learning to play instruments, drawing and painting.
