Susan Malaret is a business professional in the medical device industry currently working as the Senior Business Development Manager at Astora Health. With over 25 years’ experience, she has worked for several companies focused on new technology development and marketing. She has served in a variety of roles ranging from clinical trial management, research and development, sales, marketing, market development, international business and strategy development. She earned her B.S. in biomedical engineering from Boston University and an MBA from the Carlson School of Management. Susan has a particular interest in global thinking, having worked at Medtronic’s international headquarters in Switzerland for three years. She is married to Enrique Malaret (raised in Puerto Rico) and is focused on raising her three children Ava, Gabi and Jordi in a bilingual environment. She is also a passionate advocate for the International Baccalaureate education model developing inquiring, knowledgeable and caring students. Susan is a previous board member of the ISLA PTO and currently sits on the ISLA fundraising and marketing committees.
