Welcome Bags for the Language Ambassadors

We are gladly accepting donations for our LA welcome bags. Items donated in the past include stuff like: Warm (new) socks, gift cards, chapstick, gum, candy etc. Anything donated needs to be donated x6 (although we only have 5 LA's there is still a possibility of the 6, if this potential LA gets his visa approved). So, if people want to donate something it would need to be in quantities of 6. Donations will be accepted through 8/12.

We are also still looking for Aunt/Uncle families - if this family lives in the Hopkins/Bloomington area that would be especially helpful. Their duties would include helping out with rides, spending time with their LA, taking them on family excursions/adventures, having them over for dinner etc. This is a year long commitment.  

Label your Items

We are encouraged to label everything the kiddos bring to school so check out our Mabel's Labels fundraiser (summer camps, sports, additional activities too!) - this is ongoing throughout the year!

20% of proceeds go back to the PTO!

Box Tops for Education

Box Tops for Education is an easy way for families to contribute to ISLA. You can download the app from the App Store if you are an Apple customer or get it via Google Play by clicking on this link: https://www.boxtops4education.com/s/get-the-app.  Once you have downloaded the app, you will need to search for International Spanish Language Academy as the school you would like to support.

Once you have the app, start purchasing items with the Box Tops for Education logo and can your receipt within 14 days of purchase.

PTO Restaurant Night Fundraisers

The PTO has scheduled some restaurant night fundraisers at various local restaurants. Here is what is on tha calendar so far:

August 22 - Panera, 3345 Hazelton Road, Edina, 4-8 pm
September 18 - Davanni's, 5124 Gus Young Lane, Edina, 4-8 pm
October 7 - Flapjack Fundraiser at Applebee's, 8421 Joiner Way, Eden Prairie, 8-10 am
December 6 - Noodles & Company, 8120 Hwy 7 Ste 346, St. Louis Park (Knollwood Mall), 4-8 pm
