Non-Uniform Day

Friday, October 25th will be a non-uniform day for all ISLA students to celebrate the success of the obstajog fundraiser. It is also, picture retake day. Students that were absent on picture day will get their pictures taken as well as students that requested a retake.

PTO COMMUNITY MEETING!!

The PTO Board is so excited to host our first Community Meeting on Wednesday November 13th at 6 pm!! Mark your calendars and stay tuned for further info!!

Come carve a pumpkin!!

Who: Any families in the ISLA Community! Some of our LAs will be joining the fun!

‍

What: Bring your pumpkin (recommend 1 per family to help with time) & carving tools.

‍

Where: ISLA cafeteria and/or outside at picnic tables (if weather permits). 

‍

When: This Friday (10/25) 4-6:30pm

‍

Please cover your workspace before carving for easy clean-up. When you are done, please help by tidying up your area.

‍

Idea: Pre-gut your pumpkin at home so you have more time to enjoy decorating & socializing with LA’s + other families.

Have a knack for marketing, maybe you enjoy writing or just want to be part of supporting our school??

The PTO Board is looking for an interested party (or multiple parties to co-chair) to shadow the Secretary & Communications position this school year and to take over moving into the ‘25-’26 school year.

General responsibilities & time commitment is one 60-90 minute meeting per month, along with writing the PTO Corner update for the school’s weekly Noticias email. Myself along with the rest of the board can help provide context and templates if desired, but we’re also happy to see positions flex based on an individual’s skills, bandwidth & needs!!
