Fall Conferences

Fall goal setting conferences will be Thursday, November 7 and Friday, November 8. There will be no school on these days. If you need child care for these days, please sign up for non-school day are at the link listed above.

Book Fair

Come shop the Scholastic Book Fair during conferences!

Thursday 12:00-8:00

Friday 8:00-2:30

If the Book Fair is not open during your conference time or you are not attending conferences, you can shop our fair online beginning Monday or create an eWallet and your child can shop on Wednesday at school.  Profits benefit ISLA teachers and students.  Cash, check, Apple Pay, and credit cards accepted.

We are still in need of volunteers to help run the Book Fair.  Volunteers will receive 50% off one book.  Sign up here to volunteer.  Looking forward to a great fair!

The PTO Board is so excited to host our first Community Meeting on Wednesday November 13th at 6pm!! Please RSVP here to help us plan for dinner!

On Thursday 11/7, please consider signing up to bring an item to help feed our staff during conferences!! Please set-up your dish by 4PM. As another option, you could Venmo the PTO & we will apply the donation to their meals!

Torti’s Lost & Found

HUGE shoutout to parent Laci Haviland for her attention to managing the Lost & Found. You can view the latest video/photos here!! Make sure you stop by & grab any of your items during conferences next week! Laci will be returning any labeled items in the coming weeks– Any Unlabeled items will be donated to the uniform exchange/elsewhere the week following conferences.

What a blast the past week has been at ISLA!! Thank you so much to Therese & Bob Sparkins, Jenna Perrin, Mychelle Nunez and ALL our wonderful volunteers that helped make these community events possible for our families.

Have a knack for marketing, maybe you enjoy writing or just want to be part of supporting our school??

The PTO Board is looking for an interested party (or multiple parties to co-chair) to shadow the Secretary & Communications position this school year and to take over moving into the ‘25-’26 school year.

General responsibilities & time commitment is one 60-90 minute meeting per month, along with writing the PTO Corner update for the school’s weekly Noticias email. Myself along with the rest of the board can help provide context and templates if desired, but we’re also happy to see positions flex based on an individual’s skills, bandwidth & needs!! Happy to see what you might have to offer as our school continues to grow & expand in all sorts of ways!! Please reach out to Caitlin Edstrom at ptosecretary@isla.school with questions!!
