ISLA gives enrollment preference to siblings of currently enrolled students and children of staff. To get your child's sibling preference, you must still complete an online student application for your child. The deadline to be included in the lottery is 4 pm on Friday, February 14th.

Students will preview on March 3-5 and can purchase books with their grown ups at conferences on March 6 and 7. If students will not be at conferences, they can bring money, or you can set up an eWallet to purchase books on March 5th during the day. More information to follow.

To help keep things fun and easy for our DQ friends, we’re suggesting the following visit dates:
Friday, February 14th – Grab your sweetheart and stop by for a Valentine’s Day treat!
Recommended group: Pre-K, Kinder, 2nd & 5th Graders– Game Afternoon/Night at DQ! Bring your friends (or your kiddo’s
friends) and enjoy board games and Blizzards!
Friday, February 21st – 1st, 3rd, & 4th Graders, it’s your turn! Another round of games & treats at DQ!
Thursday, February 27th – Talent Show Night!
Whether you grab an early snack/dinner before the show or stop by after for a celebratory treat, mention ISLA when ordering and DQ will donate 20% of all sales back to our school

We are so excited to see our students, staff & families in the spotlight next month! Tickets to attend the Talent Show are a suggested donation of $5/seat at the door– Or just pay what you can! These tickets at the door will be general admission seating at the auditorium. Additionally, we will now be offering a limited amount of reserved seats!! There will still be plenty of seats available in the auditorium for general admission, but if you’re looking to reserve ahead of time, you can find out how here!
On March 6, our monthly Restaurant Night will be at Dave & Buster's in Southdale Mall. We're able to combine this fun family night with a mini-fundraiser by selling Power Cards – play cards for any Dave & Buster’s—and a fun way to fundraise for ISLA!

Donations for Fiesta come in many shapes & sizes– Gift cards, memorabilia, crafted/handmade items, culinary treats/catering, gift baskets and more... But maybe you've also heard of Great Gatherings– Now called Community Connections to more closely reflect what their true intent is– To bring us all closer together not only as a school community, but as friends to build & grow connections with other humans in similar phases of life with a vested interest in our children's education, well-being along with our staff!
You are free to choose from a pre-made list of ideas, gift basket ideas or come up with something of your own!! FIESTA RAFFLE IS BACK!
Each student has 5 tickets to sell to family & friends – the tickets are $10/each. The drawing will take place at the Fiesta event (3/15/25), you do not need to be present to win! More tickets are available if you want to sell more than 5, any unsold tickets should be given back to the teacher by 3/3/25. All filled out tear offs of purchased tickets and payment should be returned by 3/3/25 also. Cash or check preferred.
