On Friday, February 28th there will be no school for students as it is grading day for the teachers. Spring Student-led Conferences will be March 6 and 7. If you haven't had an opportunity to sign up for a slot, please reach out to your child's teacher.

Girl Scout Cookie Sale During Conferences

Some of our ISLA students who are Girl Scouts will be selling cookies during conferences.  If your child would like to participate or has something to sell, they are welcome to set up a table and clean up afterwards.  If you have a Girl Scout interested in selling cookies, Karissa Wiegand is coordinating so you can reach out to her at Karissa.Wiegand@gmail.com.

Spring Book Fair

The Spring Book Fair is coming and we need volunteers!  Sign up below to volunteer:

Students will preview on March 3-5 and can purchase books with their grown ups at conferences on March 6 and 7.  If students will not be at conferences, they can bring money, or you can set up an eWallet to purchase books on March 5th during the day.  More information to follow.

TODAY… Thursday 2/27:

DQ 4-10pm: Whether you grab an early snack/dinner before the show or stop by after for a celebratory treat, mention ISLA when ordering and DQ will donate 20% of all sales back to our school!

Talent Show 7pm: Doors at 6:30!

PLEASE NOTE: The start time was previously noted as 6pm– But the Talent Show will start at 7pm!

We are so excited to see our students, staff & families in the spotlight tonight! Tickets to attend the Talent Show are a suggested donation of $5/seat at the door– Or just pay what you can! These tickets at the door will be general admission seating in the auditorium.

Additionally, we will now be offering a limited amount of reserved seats!! There will still be plenty of seats available in the auditorium for general admission, but if you’re looking to reserve ahead of time, you can find out how here!

Power Card Sales Ends Monday!

On March 6, our monthly Restaurant Night will be at Dave & Buster's in Southdale Mall. We're able to combine this fun family night with a mini-fundraiser by selling Power Cards – play cards for any Dave & Buster’s—and a fun way to fundraise for ISLA!

Start Date: Thursday, February 27 – March 3

$10 or $20 Play Cards Available50% of sales go back to ISLA!

Great for our Family Fun Night on March 6 (or any visit to Dave & Buster’s).

We just threw A LOT of information at you– But not to fret... We've got your back! Don't forget to utilize the PTO website for all your Fiesta need-to-knows. I will keep this post pinned in our Facebook group as well as sent via email to the school to have for reference. Can't wait to make another year of memories together at our school's biggest get together of the year.

FIESTA RAFFLE IS BACK!

Each student has 5 tickets to sell to family & friends – the tickets are $10/each. The drawing will take place at the Fiesta event (3/15/25), you do not need to be present to win! More tickets are available if you want to sell more than 5, any unsold tickets should be given back to the teacher by 3/3/25. All filled out tear offs of purchased tickets and payment should be returned by 3/3/25 also. Cash or check preferred.

    We are looking for help setting up, all the way to tearing down.... And everything in-between on the day-of Fiesta. The Sign-up Genius is now available reflecting opportunities to get involved on 3/15.
