Parent Ideation Session

A few weeks ago, Sr. Perrin sent out an invitation for an ideation session, to contribute your ideas and feedback for the future of ISLA. There are still spots available, so please sign up soon.    

• When: Thursday, October 12th, from 6:30pm until 8:00pm
• Where: In the ISLA Media Center​
• What:  The ISLA Board of Directors has contracted with Carlo Cuesta of Creation in Common to help facilitate this workshop, and we are looking forward to getting your input. 

The objectives of the evening include:

• Engaging parents and guardians in visioning exercises to inform ISLA’s strategic plan.
• Identifying key strategic priorities that ISLA needs to address over the next five years.
• Envisioning ways the whole ISLA community can work together to achieve the school’s goals.

ISLA Families:

Please take a moment to add your family contact information to the ISLA School Directory. You will only be added if you fill out the quick survey. This is the only resource that families have to contact classmates for playdates, birthday parties and carpooling.

Extra-curricular Activities

Fall extra-curricular activities will begin next week with the exception of Minecraft.  For your convenience, these extra-curricular activities have been posted on the ISLA calendar so that you can check to see if your child has an extra-curricular activity.

ISLA Fall Clean-up Rescheduled!

Due to popular demand at this point spaces are limited. However, if you or anyone you know would like to place an ad in the International Spanish Language Academy 2017/2018 directory that will be distributed for free to every family and teacher in our school, please contact Jodi Rankin at 952-641-7100 x 101.  She will walk you through the process and help you choose a message or an offer that will generate business for you and money for our school.
