Carlos was born in Mérida, Venezuela, and from a young age showed a strong interest in knowledge and education. In 2008, he began his studies in Law at Fermin Toro University in Barquisimeto, graduating in 2014 with a law degree. His desire to broaden his academic horizons led him to explore new fields of study, and he later pursued degrees in Business Administration at Sucre Technological University and in Teaching at Libertador Pedagogical Experimental University, earning diplomas in both areas. In 2016, Carlos made the decision to migrate to Quito, Ecuador, where he joined the Enseña Ecuador Foundation at Brethren High School. In his role as a social sciences teacher, Carlos not only taught but also played a crucial role in integrating migrant students into the Ecuadorian educational system. Additionally, he contributed to the development of technological, pedagogical, and leadership skills for both teachers and students. In 2022, Carlos became part of the Alumni community of the international education network Teach For All (TFALL) and moved to the United States in search of new opportunities for personal and professional growth. He is currently beginning his role at ISLA as a Special Education Assistant, where he hopes to provide valuable support to both students and teachers. Throughout his life, Carlos has developed a passion for traveling, singing, listening to music, swimming, trying international dishes, and learning new languages. With a solid academic background and rich experience in education and leadership, Carlos remains committed to making a meaningful difference in the educational field.
