Carly is starting at ISLA for the 2024-2025 school year in RTI for 4th and 5th grade. She graduated from the College of Saint Benedict in central Minnesota with double majors in Psychology and Hispanic Studies. During her time at CSB, she spent a semester studying abroad in Vina del Mar, Chile. Upon graduating, Carly returned to the suburbs of Chicago where she grew up and worked as a long-term substitute teaching 8th grade Spanish and elementary EL. She then moved back to Minnesota and worked as an Interventionist providing bilingual math and reading support to 1st, 4th, and 5th graders. In her free time, Carly likes to be active by playing and coaching volleyball, as well as enjoys music and playing the flute. Carly is eager to join the RTI team at ISLA and is excited to bring her experience and passion for Spanish to this community.
