Mrs. Miriam, originally from Venezuela, holds a degree in Comprehensive Education from the Libertador Experimental Pedagogical University "JMSM" and a specialization in Planning and Evaluation of Education from Santa Maria University. She also earned a Master's Degree in Community Education from the Experimental Pedagogical University "JMSM." With 27 years of experience across primary, secondary, and university education in Venezuela, Mrs. Miriam brings a wealth of knowledge to her work. She joined the ISLA School staff in 2021 as a Special Education Assistant and in 2023 she became a second grade teacher. Mrs. Miriam is enthusiastic and grateful for the opportunity to continue her passion for teaching and nurturing future generations. In her free time, Mrs. Miriam enjoys spending time with her family, remodeling her home, and reading. She is also excited to explore the State of Minnesota and appreciate its beautiful landscapes.
