My name is María Fernanda Andueza. I am originally from Venezuela, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science. I moved to Minnesota in 2003 and have worked in various roles, with my most recent experience being as an educational assistant in a middle school science classroom. I am very excited to start this new adventure at Isla as a Pre-K and Kindergarten educational assistant. I love working with children; I am the mother of a 9-year-old boy who is also a student at Isla. I am also a teacher of traditional Venezuelan folk dance, which is one of my passions. I love nature and animals. Integrity and respect are qualities I deeply value. Patience and love in what I do are my driving forces, motivating me every day to give my best in everything I undertake.
